Buzzing noise when pausing
Hi,
So I'm new to SageTV and I've been giving it a whirl. The one thing I'm having a problem with is when I pause video, the speakers start to buzz. Hitting Pause again stops the buzzing. I was wondering if this is a known bug. I'm using the SPDIF optical out from my motherboard on a Shuttle Zen. Everynow and then I also get some "crackling" during video playback. The crackling comes suddenly, then stops and the audio sounds fine. I don't think this is a related issue. Any help on either problem would be most appreciated. I'm thinking the crackling might be a issue with my TOSLINK cable, but the fact that the crackling comes and goes in an abrupt nature makes me think it's not the quality of the cable. -Tim

I use spdif out with no symptoms you describe. Have been for many months.. I don't think it's Sage issue. Have you tried playing back through other app (like WMM) to compare?
