Switches to TV while watching DVD

While I am watching a ripped DVD SageTV jumps out of it and into a recording of LiveTV.

Did you issue any commands to SageTV when this occured? Bump the mouse scroll wheel? Or, was it just playing & decided to go to live TV? Is there a problem with the ripped dvd -- do all chapters & such exist so that it will play OK using other software?

An update... I noticed that Sage reports "The client has lost the server connection" error message... This only happens with my DVD playback -- the recorded shows work find and they are both on the same Sage server...
