Cable company's info shows when changing channels
Finally just got my cable box (DCT2000) hooked up to the htpc using the dct plugin and a serial cable to change channels. Didn't work at first, but now seems ok.
Problem is, when I change channels the cable company's TVGuide info shows at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds. Is there anyway to avoid this, or am I stuck with it? |

That would probably depend on whether there is an option to turn off that info display on the box somehow... does the STB have a manual?

Here's a DCT2000 User Guide. It won't help you much, though, regarding the on-screen program guide -- it just says to "Reference the electronic program guide instruction manual for detailed instructions". Oh well.
