Service doesn't show My Videos, My Music, or My Pictures?
I've just recently given the SageTV Service a try, and noticed that when it is running, I no longer have anything show up for My Videos, My Music, and My Pictures. It shows the folders, put no .jpegs in them, nor will it actually play or show anything.
It will work again, when I turn off the service and restart Sage, however. Any ideas/tips? I've tried searching for this, but it seems that all the service questions are about epg/TV related issues... Thanks! |

When you have it in service mode, and run the SageTV icon, it's actually using the sagetvclient.properties file, make sure your STV & stuff are set up in that file sa well as the sagetv.properties file. That's just a guess anyway.

Check the manual regarding the service setup around p. 14. If you are using UNC paths, the service needs to log in as a user w/a passowrd, and you cannot use mapped drives. I'm not sure if the special Windows "My Documents"-style dirs fall into that category.

Also,
Make sure those folders are not setup as Video folders. |
