Help, Sage TV started crashing

Hopefully someone can help me figure this out

Towards the end of the Vikings-Packers football game yesterday, SageTV locked up. Annoying, but it's a computer program, so I just did a reboot. However, SageTV keeps locking up. It seems like every time it tried to access the HD it crashes...If I try to watch live TV, if I go to recorded shows, if I select the 'recording directory' option on setup. I ran diskdoctor and defragged my HD, no problems were found and the computer seems to work fine aside from that.

Another weird thing that could be related: If I go to the Live TV Guide and try to select a channel, I get an error message that is something like 'Error(-10): No tuner is able to view the selected channel' (Text is a little off, but I'm at work right now so going from emmory). However, if I go to channel setup, the tuners seem to be working fine..I can select the 'view' option there and it works. I tried removing and readding the tuners as sources in SageTV to see if that cleared it up, but it crashed again after I removed them, and at that point I just went to bed, so haven't readded yet.

My system:

P4 2.4Ghz
1 GB Ram
P865 chipset board
ATI 9600
SageTV 2.0 on Windows XP Pro, Service pack 2

Any help/suggestiosn appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Still need some help on this. I uninstalled and reinstalled Sage, and its stil llocking up. Something seems to be happening that casues WIZ/BIN to blow up. Unless the file is supposed to be 8MB plus. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

My wiz.bin is around 8 MB, but then it has been in use for over a year...

When you reinstalled, did you completely delete the SageTV directory (or copy it elsewhere & rename it)? If not, you installed over the same set of config files & if they caused the problem in the first place, the problem will still be there. There is a FAQ entry regarding how to reinstall w/o keeping your old possibly-problematic configuration data.

I deleted everything like the reinstall isntructions on the FAQ said. Had to do it twice though. Seems to be tentatively OK right now, will have to keep tabs on it for a bit though, since I had no idea why it went FUBAR on me in the first place.
