Ghost Manual recording how do I get rid of it?

You know that yellow tray icon that has a red "!" in it? Well, I was reading the Sage manual and discovered that its not the normal SageTV tray icon! It indicates a conflict, right? So I went into the conflict list (which I never knew existed before, extremely useful feature!) and went through them all. I discovered, at the very bottom, a manual recording occuring every thursday. Specifically it says:

"Timed Record Recurs Weekly" at Thu, Jan 20 9:30pm on ETC 20 from favorite

When I click it the only option is "Close". This is the very first recording I created in Sage back when I was testing it out. I checked Jan 20th (BTW no idea why its says Jan 20 as it was created 2 moths ago) and every thursday for 2 months into the future. I checked the standard 'upcomming recording' list. I cannot find this recording to cancel it. It dosen't exist. I created dummy manual recordings copying what I originally did exactly (I've got a pretty good memory) and canceled those - to no avail. How do I kill this ghost recording? Thanks!

Ok, after reading up more. It seems all recording info is stored in wiz.bin? If so, is there a way to edit wiz.bin to remove this entry? Thanks!

No, there isn't a way to edit wiz.bin.

Did I read that correctly? You've got a Timed Recording that doesn't show up in the Recording Schedule screen at all (even with the interleaved display?), yet it shows up as a conflict? If that is really the case, have you tried the latest beta? I would report it to Frey if it still persists.

Yup, honest truth . I can provide some screenshots, give me a couple minutes. I have not tried the beta. Truthfully, I am afraid to mess with my Sage setup at this point. Its working real well. The update to 2.1.1 was a bit traumatic as is. I kind of don't want to mess with something that is working and put something that is potentially unstable over it.

Edit:

Here is the conflict listed:

Here is the conflict when I click it, notice that theres no actual conflict and 'close' is the only option:

This is what my normal timed recording looks like (actually, I pressed caputre a bit early by mistake but I included it anyway ):

Here is Thursday this comming week at 9:30pm the time listed in the conflict list:

Here is two thursdays from now on Jan 20th the date listed in the conflict screen:

Its blank on every thursday at 9:30pm for a month and a half going forward.

Thanks!

I had a similar problem a while ago.
What happened was that it tried to record something from a channel that I had deleted. In the channel setup, I for some reason have duplicates on many of the channels (anyone know how to remove them?). Anyway, I deactivated one of each duplicate, but one of the deactivated duplicates had a timed recording associated to it. That one then looked similar to yours in the schedule. After enabling the channel (green dot), I could remove the recording.

I haven't experienced it, so it would be hard for me to submit it & follow up on it if need be... so I leave that to you. (Edit: Or check with tech support.)
