|
IR200L & USB_UIRT?
Right now I have the IR-200L connected and controlling a SA box into my plextor. I bought a USB-UIRT and just recieved my two emitters.
My question is...Can I leave the IR-200L working as is and connect the USB-UIRT to 2 more SA boxes into my other tuners? Does this mess with zones? Any help would be great.

You'll need to use the "Zones" so that the IR commands are selectively sent to the individual STB's. You will have to use "Zone1" for one of the remote emitters and "Zone2" for the other remote emitter. "Zone3" is the main blaster emitter built into the USB-UIRT.
I have no experience using IR-200L simultaneously with USB-UIRT. Just give it a go and see what happens. DFA

I _think_ you should be able to use both devices.
Regarding zones: you would only need to bother with zones if your boxes are the same and can't be set to respond to different IR codes. - Andy
