Wierd Lockups with Sage

Not quite sure if this is a Sage Problem or the SageMC STV i'm using. Near the time a show changes (on the hour or half-hour) and the wife or I are not directly watching a show (i.e. we have the guide or some other piece of sage open) the whole box will lock-up (sometimes). It only happens during a period change. I could not get it to happen during any other time.

Is this something that has happened to people before or is it someting I need to bring to the attention of the SageMC STV designer?

Right now it is not bothersome because it has not happened when a show we really want to watch/record is about to come on

Thanks in advance...really love the software. Heck the wife loves it too. Thanks to Sage and mlbdude.
