No Audio on new recordings

After upgrading to 2.2 (clean install) Sage no longer records audio although video is fine. Audio is fine on programs recorded prior to the upgrade.

I've tried different audio decoders & renderers without success. I've also verified audio is present on the s-video connection.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the idea. I installed all new drivers then re-installed Sage and am still having probelms. Changing from SVideo to RF fixed the audio problem but the video quality suffers.

Any other thoughts? I still can't get audio to work via Svideo.

yeah use different composite cables for audio
but you can use the same svideo cable cause it sounds like it was working fine

RF is horrible my box outputs freakin mono sound
I can only get stereo by using composite cables for my audio

(and you know svideo is for video only, you need the composite red and white cables for audio when using svideo)

Me thinks he isn't connecting any audio wires up when using the sVIDEO connector.

Ah-ha! Cayars, you were very close. I was using a cheap old RCA to mini-plug adapter I had in my drawer. It didn't work so I guess you were right -- in effect I didn't have any audio cables hooked up.

Thanks.
