Re-install Sage
My Sage Server is just dead -- it keeps stuttering, pauses in the middle of a playback of a show and keeps losing its connection with the client. I know this because it's happening on both my clients all of a sudden.
I want to know -- Can I just re-install the server? Or do I have to re-install all of my clients as well? It seems that Sage runs well for a month at a time and then dies... |

you can increase the buffer on the clients if running wireless
there should be no need if running wired (it is in the registry numbuffer default is 20 change to 200) and yes you can reinstall just the server make sure to delete the Frey folder and to save the properties files if you do not want to do setup again and wix,bin if you want to save recording info |

Actually, I REALLY started having problems when I changed that registry setting -- it started with the server getting a "IP Error" and causing a "send to M$" message... Does that affect the read ahead or the IP protocol as well?

Oh, and I am wired at 100MPS, network should not be an issue...
