suggested remote client box?

I thought it would be an inexpensive matter to get any TV to access to a Sage server or client by using a wireless video sender/receiver.

Not so simple with a 2.4 GHz wireless ethernet network though, as that is also the base frequency of many of the sender/receivers that I've found, including the Radio Shack model that I purchased. Even if I set my network to a high frequency channel and the sender/receiver to a low frequency channel, there's enough crosstalk to cause both TV reception interference and either degrade or kill the network.

An Xbox / Playstation running a Linux version of Sage sounds like a possibility to hold some hope out for. ANother possibility would be to retrofit someone's castoff computer with some noise abatement. What are some other highly affordable options?
