New DVD Decoder and PVR-150 issue
I am having the same problem using both the newest Nvidia Decoder and even the slightly older one from about a month ago with my PVR-150.
About every 2 out of 4 times when I shut down Sage and restart it, I get a black screen when trying to play Live TV or recordings. During this time my CPU utilization for SageTV.exe sky rockets to 99%. I have narrowed it down to the NVidia DVD decoder because I can duplicate the problem only with this decoder. All others I have no problem (unfortuately these other decoders dont come near the PQ of Nvidia) Also I noticed that when the latest Nvidia decoder is installed, Sage does not recognize any other decoder. When I uninstall it or reinstall the previous Nvidia decoder, I get the other decoders back as choices..... ODD!!! My PVR-250 in my other box seems to be immuned to all of this and the only difference between my sage boxes is the Capture cards.
