Sagetv no longer sees my two pvr 250's
My HTPC for no reason at all stopped seeing my two PVR 250 cards. I know the 250's are good because when I placed them with a trial copy of sagetv in my desk top pc everything is good. When places back in my HTPC Sagetv does not see either 250. I think "I said I think" I narrowed it down to the Duel pci card riser in the ASUS Pundit case. Will not be sure until my new pci riser gets to me in a few days. WindowsXP sees the PVR 250 cards all PVR 250 cards has updated drivers, But Sagetv just does not see the cards. I'm stuck at the "Please select video capture device listed below" with No card to pick
This happened in the middle of the days after 12 months of working just fine. Could this be a software problem have anyone seen this before ? thanks for any opinions HELP Last edited by Fluffdaddy; 12-19-2004 at 02:38 PM. |

have you checked the properties files
to see if sagetv is ignoring the pvr 250s the line is ignore_encoder or really close (to edit this line make sure sagetv is not running in service mode or normally) as also if you are having trouble making sagetv stop ignoring the tuners after editing the properties files run hcw.clear.exe and again sageTV cannot be running then try updating the drivers to the new ones from hauppauge |
