Hauppauge remote help needed

I am trying to set my 45 button hauppauge remote to pause winamp which is always running on my media pc. Is there any way I can set the "music" button to pause and unpause winamp.

See the documentation for irremote.ini found in the first post of link #1 for the remote in my sig lines regarding adding/changing commands in that ini file.

I don't know anythign about controlling winamp, but if it has focus, you can send a key, if it doesn't have focus, you'll have to see if there is some way to send commands to it either through its exe, some utility, or simply via Windows messages.

disregard the above post. i found a girder GML file that controls winamp 2.x and 5.x. it's sort of off-topic for this thread so i posted here:

Thanks!!! I knew it would be easy, i just needed to get pointed in the right direction. I simply edited the irremote.ini to command winamp with certain keys on the hauppauge remote.
