should it be recording while in sleep?
i onl have 1 favorite that i have scheduled to record yet, while in sleep, SageTV continues to record the last channel i left it on
shouldn't it stop recording while in sleep? it's filling up my hard drive something fierce when it seems unnecessary to do so

Edit:See this post by dkardatzke he gives the official explanation.
Do you have Intelligent Recording enabled? It's in SETUP>DETAILED SETUP>General tab. This will cause SageTv to record shows it thinks you like based on your viewing habits. It gets smarter the longer you use SageTV. You can also go into detailed setup and limit the amount of disk space SageTv will use for storing shows. Sage will always delete "Intelligent Recordings" first. I think it then deletes "live TV" and then "Favorites" and lastly "Manually" recorded shows. This list order came from memory so don't accept it as law. Last edited by justme; 06-15-2003 at 04:02 AM.
