Bouncing video with 2.1 and above
Hi all
Having had 2.0 run properly for months I decided to try the 2.1 release, now I have problems. System specs; Shuttle SN41G2, Althlon 1200, 512MB DDR, 120GB HDD, PVR250, WinXP Pro SP2. When starting sage and live TV the video bounces up and down on the screen. Video is fed via coax from cable box, however when viewed using the TV i.e not through Sage the signal is fine, no bouncing. The only solution I can find is to run HWCLEAR and reinstall the drivers etc for the PVR 250. I have tried taking the card out and reseating etc. It occurs with other PVR programs ie GB PVR and WinTV 2000. Any ideas before I go insane and do something rash like buy MCE2005 and a PVR 150. Any help would be greatly appreciated MacBriar |

I can suggest upgrading to the newest beta
there are fixes in it and the pvr 150 will do no good you can use a pvr 250 in MCE as well |

I dont know where you live but I had something similar and it was solved by setting vide_format_code=8 in the properties file. I believe that makes one choose for pal rather than ntsc (in Europe).
