Will we ever get MP3 through the PVR350?

Will we ever get MP3's to play through a PVR350 or is it a strict limitation of the card itself?

Thanks,
Kevin

It's a limitation of the card. What I do is route the audio out on my 350 to the line in on my audio card. This passes the 350 through while still giving me MP3 and windows audio to the same input on my receiver.

See I thought of that but my Sage's audio through my sound card before I bought a 350 was way to quiet. It was OK for TV (with the volume cranked) but it wouldn't suffice for MP3's. And yes I treid all the reg hacks etc. that Frey said to try but nothing worked. Now the 350's audio is great. Nice and clear and loud but now I can't play MP3s.

I just wish Sage would incorporate Xcard support already so all these problems would dissapear.

The reason why it was too quiet is because the sound card didn't have a powered output, in other words there was no "gain" added to the signal as it was leaving the sound card. I have a PVR-350 that I use for MP3's in this fashion, and it works like a champ. Sound card just has to support it.

My sound card is built into my motherboard. I have an MSI NForceII chipset, I will look when I get home at the exact model.
