New Hauppauge remote - navagation keys surrounding OK not automatically configured

I purchased the WinTV-PVR-150. After installing the included Hauppauge software to verify that everything worked, I downloaded and installed SageTV, version 2.1.

I attempted to do what comes natural with the Hauppauge 45-button remote control, but I discovered that the navigation keys surrounding the OK button didn't seem to do anything. I had to use the channel up/down and volume up/down buttons.

After reading up on the format of the irremote.ini file, it was fairly simple to make those buttons function the same way as the channel and volume buttons.

Doesn't it make sense for the SageTV installation to include support for the normal navigation keys during the initial installation?

I'm new to Sage so I don't know if this should be posted as a suggestion, a bug report or not at all.

Official support for the new 45-button remote simply hasn't been added yet. For a solution, see this post.
