I do appreciate your help but I have no idea what area in Sage your are referring to. I have the 350 setup in Multimedia to Enable the TV out- Enable the UI and Enable hardware decoding. Are you saying that I need to disable hardware decoding?

The option says "Hardware Decoding Only". If you have enabled that, then you have disabled software encoding, since you are telling it to use the hardware on the 350 ONLY. If you are using the 350 for decoding and using its video out, you should also be using its audio out. It handles the decoding in its hardware, decoding and outputting both the video and audio. If you disable the hardware only option, then it will decode through the 350 and via software. You can then use the sound card's audio out, but it probably won't be synced with the 350's video out.

Andy, thanks for the specifics. Since I am not willing to give up the Hardware encoding ( in my mind the only reason to have a 350). I guess I will have to live with the audio of the 350 being connected to my receiver. This is not a big problem as I have the HTPC configured for dual boot with SaageTV and MCE 2005 on seperate partitions, for continued evaluation. Thanks again for the help.

You could also try looping the 350's output back into your "soundcard's" input.
