Video Skips On Hour and 30 past

It seems every hour on both the 30 minutes past mark and the 00 mark for a new hour the video slows down and skips for a second. This seems related to the time switch but I'm not sure why this causes a hiccup in the video. I am using the pvr 350 with the tv out. Any help is appreciated. -Rob

What's happenening is that Sage starts writing to a new file when each new show starts. A brief pause at that point is normal since it has to stop playing the old file and start playing the new one.

I figured thats what it was but it even does this in the middle of a show. For example if the show is an hour it still seems to do it at 30 past.

are you using the correct guide data ?
if the guide believes the show will end at 30 past
then SageTV will end the show and begin another

I am guessing this would be the case
and you are using a digital set top box correct?

Nope not using a digital box and I am using the correct guide data. It doesnt happen for every program but it does happen enough thats it noticeable.

not sure then
you should only get the pauses if the program is suppose to end at the half hour and hour marks

Mine pauses at the end of the particular show. Sometimes in excess of 10 seconds. Ouch.
