XMLTV problems

I've read the threads here an I'm unable to find an answer to my XMLTV problems.

I'm trying to setup SageTV with XMLTV epg, following the instructions found here in several other threads. plugin name is in properties file, classes are in the right location, xerces is available in my JRE.

I enter my zip code as 00000, and select XMLTV as my source, it then asks me to 'please wait' while it contacts the sagetv server. Then it just sits there forever. I can push the left arrow to go back to the zip code page, but I just cant go past this page.

I've tried entering TRIAL when asked for the SageTV Service code, but it didn't seem to make any difference.

Any one got any ideas?

Is the file epgdata.xml located in you sagetv folder? If not copy it over then try again.

Yes, it is. I'm wondering if it doesn't like something about the file.

I'm in New Zealand, so I'm using tv_grab_nz file to generate the file. Is anyone else from NZ here? Anyone tried this successfully?

I managed to get this sorted, and through I'd give a quick update in case anyone is searching for the same information in the future.

The problem was that the plugin was expecting the 'optional timezone' to be included in the start and stop times for each program. The current nz grabber simply doesnt add this information. I'm not sure if grabbers for other countries also dont do this.

A quick change to the tv_grab_nz script and I was up and running.
