PVR-150 MCE only?

In the description of the bundle with SageTV the 150 doens't say it required MCE but everywhere I have seen this card for sale by itself, it says that MCE is required. Does anyone know if the SageTV bundle with PVR-150 runs on XP Pro?

The drivers are the same so it shouldn't be a problem.

XP Pro and XP MCE are almost the exact same OS, the difference is MCE comes with the MCE app that runs on top of XP Pro (minus domain joining).

So all these cards that say MCE only should be the same hardware?

Usually, the MCE versions of the cards don't have the IR remote functionality, have FM, and may have different connectors since there is no IR port. They pretty much use the same drivers, though, as mentioned above, so XP Pro is not a problem. Among the various places where you can find info on all the various cards, check out Hauppauge's PVR comparison table. You can click on the product images to get a detailed page for each, but the 500 link goes to teh 350's page.

I've seen some comments that the newer cards are not intended for Windows 98/ME.

Which is just as well since there is no software to make use of these newer cards that runs under Windows 98 anyway (including SageTV).
