good point stanger. as far as i'm aware albatron is supposed to be the first out of the blocks with a non GT agp version so hopefully that will appear in the very near future.

albatron has been good thus far in including the component dongle too...unlike xfx

I use a fanless 9600 non-pro out to my Sony HDTV, and it give me great PQ although I have to use overlay. I cannot take advantage of the nice transparent menus using VMR9 because then I get tearing.

I'd consider upgrading to a 6600 or 6800 so I can use VMR9, but not right now. Cannot justify the price just for that.

Stanger89 - You picked up a Gigabyte 6800 and was able to start using VMR9 without a hitch right?
