Need help with setup AIW 9600xt PVR 250 and SDTV

I have been using Sage for awhile and I think it is the best PVR solution. I need some help with my setup though. I have a PVR 250 and and ATI AIW 9600xt. I would like sage To always display on the TV output of my AIW and have the remote wonder 2 control sage even when it doesn't have focus. I have had trouble getting sage to display on the TV output. I cannot get it to work properly. I had a NVIDIA 5200 to use as my tv output and I had tearing issues when sage was on the tv and the monitor. I purchased the AIW hoping to fix the tearing, but I can't get the tvout to work the way I want. Should I use sage server on the TV at all times and use a client on the same pc but on the monitor ?
I also have comcast digital cable and the lag from using their programing interface on the PVR 250 within sage is unacceptable is there a fix to get rid of the lag or am I stuck using the AIW to watch the digital cable from the box.
Thanks in advance
