Another new sage user

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I've been lurking for a few weeks and I got my Sage system running after a little user error I am running sage 2.0 I'm deciding if I want to upgrade to Sage 2.1 after a few days of testing. The only problem is that after running the driver cleanup program I lost my sage IR remote software. Can I use ir32_245_22267.exe with the silver Hauppauge remote?

Basically, I had sage working with one tuner card while I was waiting for the second card to arrive, then forgot that I had sage set to load on startup and then proceded to upgrade the PVR drivers to the latest versions. DOH!

Now I want to grab some of the user plugins available-I really like comskip and can't wait to try it

Should be able to. If you don't have the old irremote.ini file in your Windows directory with its configuration for SageTV, then you can either install SageTV on top of itself & check the option for that remote, or you can see the sample ini files in my sig links: post 3 in link #1, or post 15 in link #3. (If the old ini is still there, make a copy of it because installing the IR software will overwrite it.)

Thanks for the help, the IR remote is now working. Reinstalling sage and enabling IR support did the trick.

I just need to do little tweaks now-reading the IR remote faq for operating sage when it has lost focus and checking out the stvs (especially comskip)
