Exclamation Final verdict of PVR-150??

I currently have a PVR-250 with it's IR in use in my SAGE box. I want to add a second PVR to it, but am concerned about conflicts.

I did a bunch of searches and read a ton of stuff, but there still isn't a general concensus from Frey,

I read about CC not working and remote controls not working etc....Can I record and use CC with this card and will my current remote still work, or will the new remote work as well?(or better?)

I know there seems to be 2 types the Retail and the MCE. I know the differences, one is the price, but I don't need to have Windows MCE to run these do I? Do the MCE version have the connector for the remote? (Maybe I should buy 2 new PVR-150MCE and use my current IR and remote with it, it it will work that way...)

Choices.....

I can speak to the last paragraph.

You don't need Windows MCE to run it. I have 2 Rosyln PVR250MCEs and 1 PVR250 (old with heatsink) running just fine in my video server. The OEM version (of Rosyln anyhow) doesn't have the remote connector. Yes you can use the PVR-250 remote or buy a real remote
