Moving recordings ques
I have one PC with SageTV that records on a 60gb HD. I then move the files to my other pc (via wireless network) with Sage Client that has a 350 gb HD (RAID). I want to be able to watch the videos and have both sage and client sage recogize the videos on the two separate pc's/ I have tried to add the directorys in both sage and client as \\destop\videos but says dir not there would u like to create it ?

Check these posts in another thread: Things to check and another user's solution. He was getting the same "would you like to create it?" dialog and had to set some share permissions.
Don't forget that you would have to add the dir as a video recording directory, or else the show info would not be tracked since you would have to import the videos instead. SageTV will then record to whichever dir has the most space available for SageTV to use when a show is recorded. - Andy

ok got it. Bill Gates tried to trick me, but I foiled him once again. When I went into services for sage - it already had it filled in an account and a password. But AHAH! I guess it was just a space filler to try and trick into thinking it was something there that meant something. It wasnt.
So I went and created a new password for my account and entered it into the sage service, stop, started, addded the DIR's and voila! Thanks for the help. I will be back, trust me.
