Multiple tuners changing channels: Odd behavior
This is a bug report, I guess.
Here's the situation: I'm watching show A live as I'm recording it. I'm also recording show B with my other tuner card. Now I decide to change channels to the channel that show B is on. So now I'm watching show B. According to the status bar at the bottom of the screen, Sage thinks I'm at the beginning of show B -- but what's on the screen is show B live, not at the beginning of the show. If I ff or rew at this point, it seems that Sage shifts forward or backward from the beginning of the show -- so hitting ff at this point actually shifts me back to 10 seconds after show B has started. Now I change back to Show A. According to the status bar, Sage thinks I'm watching at the point where I quit watching earlier. But what's on the screen is Show A, live. Hitting ff or rew references the original spot, as before. This is not a big deal, but I figured somebody ought to know. Has anyone else observed this behavior? Am I explaining this well at all? |

Confirmed. This is the behavior I see too. When switching from one channel to another channel where a recording is in progress, the progress bar indicates the show is playing from the beginning when in fact it is playing at the present live TV time.
Has anybody else noticed this and filed an official bug report?
