PVR 250 wont change channel after upgrade 2.1

Please can anyone suggest a fix for the following upgrade failure.

I upgraded from sagetv 2.0 to sagetv 2.1 and my system. Upon restart it went through setup with no prv card detected so i could do nothing.

I did a roll back and re-copied my backup into place but 2.0 no longer worked.

So I did complete uninstall of sagetv, also cleared all hauppauge drivers.

Reinstalled latest drivers etc. for pvr card from Hauppauge website, The PRV250 is working fine through wintv.

Then did fresh install of sagetv 2.1

Upon restart I had my PVR listed and went about setting it up.

Unfortunately no channels are found during the scan but if I manually enabled the right channels (37,40,43,46 & 50) I can view tv but it always the same channel regardless of which channel is actually selected.

If I import the EPG using XMLTV it automtically gets the old tv channel numbers without having to remap.

Can anyone suggest someways to fix the situation.

Baring that, I can't find my copy of sagetv2.0 so could someone provide a link where I can re-download and install that instead of 2.1

For tuning problems in v2.1, have your tried the DLL found in this post?

Thanks for your efforts but sadly it did not work. I tried every which way, upgrade to 2.1 then copying the dll, uninstalling current and re-installing 2.1 then copying the dll. Sagetv just retained the last channel viewed with wintv and would not tune.

I've managed to get back my 2.0 setup and its working fine so I guess I'll just stick with it for now.

The old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it springs to mind.
