Standard Sage.properties

Hi:

As I recall, there was posted somewhere the Sage.properties file with definitions for for each line item. I can't seem to find it.

I am looking for it for 2 reasons:

First there are some line items in my Sage.properties left over from some experimental use of some early STV's with 2.0. I would like to clean these orphaned line items out by comparing with a "virgin" file. Some are obvious, others are not.

Second, I am looking for the description for the standard entries which I thought had been done at one time.

Is there an up-to-date one posted for 2.1? If not, anyone have a clean install of SageTV 2.1 w/o the past use of any custom STV's?

I just want to inventory the line items against a "stock" file (delete orphaned lines) and looking for definitions for entries for something I may want to do.

I have not yet looked in the new manual, so if it is there, forgive me for not excercising due diligence..

Here ya go:
http://www.sage.tv/2_papers/SageAdju...Properties.txt

FWIW, it's not a list of every property, only the ones... I guess the ones you don't mess with in the UI.

FWIW2, you could just delete/move the file and let Sage build a new one. The only things you'd loose are the Linup info/decoder selection/overscan settings etc, all your favorites, recording info etc is in the wiz.bin.

The documented properties are in the manual. Edit: The manual has been updated for the new 2.1 props; I don't believe that online doc mentioned above has been, but I could be wrong about that. But, the ones listed in that doc for v1.4 are a pretty good bet for no longer being used.

If you want to create a base properties file for comparison, simply close SageTV & move ALL of your existing properties files & wiz.bin (plus all their backups) to another directory. Restart SageTV. If will go through the configuration process. Once done, close SageTV, save a copy of the new properties file, and copy back all the old saved data files.

Thanks Stanger89 and Opus4. It had not occurred to me to let Sage build a "clean" one that I can then use for a reference although I do know most apps will do this (have to do it).

Thanks for the reference as well. My searching was in vain.
