Directv local channel

On my 4th day of getting a 3 Directv system to work with 2-150MCE and 1-pvr-250,,,

I have sage server controlling 2 older RCA boxes which tune to local channel using channel 800+, I also have 1 newer RCA box that uses the correct channel numbers 2+. I have tried mapping from 800+ to 2+ and vice a versa and it doesn't seem to work. Actually, I did map it once, where the channel did change for the 800+ numbers but the 2+ numbers no longer showed in setup. I of course would like channel 2+ to be the ones to display. When I reversed the order of what I did to get the 800+ to work, no luck.

BTW, before I tried mapping, all my channels except the local onces changed fine, and all channels but the local ones still change fine.

Just wonder but can you do this with new DirecTV box just enter 800 and see if it the same channel 2 or maybe it smart enougth to auto jump to channel 2.
With my Dish even know my local channel are all listed rigth but there also listing as 8512 to 85xx which is the same as channel 3 thur xx.
I'm not sure on this but if I think if you try remap 800 to 2 then that maycuase remap channel to other tuner as well which could be a bit problem in case.
I email jeff on this and ask me about possable work around but my guest is your only option is get matching DirecTV box.

Nope it is not smart enough.

Yep, I think that is what is happening. Basically, I can get 1 or 2 boxes tuning by remaping, but not all 3.

I would have thought when going through the channel setups when configuring the sources it would have allowed for what I am trying. Sage setup brings up the channel setup each time, but a change on one tunner seems to effect the others.

Thanks for the quick replies.
