Second H250 card suddenly invisible to Sage
I recently powered down and uncabled my machine with Sage. After recabling and starting back up I noticed that sage thought I had only one tuner card instead of two. Running set up wizard made Sage see it again, but I'm wondering how often I'm going to be doing that and possibly missing stuff i want to record due to schedule conflicts with only one tuner.
Does uncabling the second encoder card make Sage lose track of it? --Shayne

no you had sageTV start up with the system before you installed the drivers for the second card
so initially the card was ignored |

So if my second card is another 250 card and the first 250 card already had drivers installed for it, why didn't windows recogize the second card upon installation and use the drivers it already knew about from card #1?
And I think I did go throught the setup wizard to add the second card (and I think got it to record something) before uncabling the system and having that second card disappear from the sources sage knew about.
