Recorded shows freeze on playback

I recently built a PVR with an eHome Wonder. I was using the trial for SageTV and everything was working perfectly. I bought a second tuner (eHome) and started to have issues after installing it. Now, whenever I try to watch shows that I have recorded, the video freezes after a couple of minutes. I can skip to the end and the video will play fine. It just seems to be certain spots that have the freezing problem.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both tuners as well as trying the trial of Beyond Media (same result). I updated to the latest drivers for the eHome and that didn't solve the problem either. The only thing I haven't tried at this point is removing one card so that it is a single tuner setup. I have read on the forums about other people succesfully using multiple eHome tuners.

Any ideas?

No, thanks for pointing me towards that. Although it's not quite the same problem, maybe his solution will work me as well. I'll give it a shot and keep you updated.
Thanks.

I tried to do the same thing as that person which was to install separate drivers (one old, one new) on the two cards. I tried doing that, but it automatically updated both of the cards to the new driver every time I installed them. I also moved them farther apart on the mobo and that didn't change anything either.

Any other ideas?

Ok, I forced the second card to use the old driver (while the first card still uses the new driver) and this fixed the problem. All recording and playback works perfectly.

Thanks!
