Unwanted cover art in picture library

Is there any way to prevent cover art from being imported into the picture library? I've never noticed this before, but instead of just my pictures being imported to the picture library, I'm getting all my cover art from my MP3s too. Which, I suppose in the current configuration is correct, but it seems like it is an undesireable behavior.

Is there a way to specify Sage to only import a type of file in an import directory, rather than _any_ importable file like it currently does?

Thanks in advance.

As I mention on p. 82 of the v2.1 manual for video thumbnails, you can mark those images as hidden to keep them out of the picture lib.

I think it has been a long-time request to be able to specify which media types an import library can be scanned for by SageTV, but currently every import lib is scanned for every import file type.

*sigh* There has got to be a better way...I have over 300 + cd's i would have to go into and mark the .jpg file as "Hidden" so they don't show up in the photo library.

A request would be to have a seperate directory designation for Video, Music, and Photos insted of one area to define all

OR

Have it like it is now with a designation for which type the directory holds

C:\mymusic..type: Music
C:\\my vids...type: video

etc...

Just my $.02

Yes, that sounds exactly like what I said has been requested in the past.
