Sage 2.1: Vertical B&W stripes on all channels?

Just downloaded 2.1 for a trial run. When I try to watch LiveTV I get nothing but wavering B&W vertical stripes on all channels. I can use WinTV2k just fine. Here is my setup:

Hauppauge 250
ATI 9800 Pro
Intel 2.8Ghz P4
Win XP Home
DirectX 9.0b

I tried playback with both the directX renderer and overlay. No change.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't see it in the FAQ or in my search of the firms.

Go to the SageTV Customer Support site and follow the link near the bottom for an updated driver from Hauppauge to try. I think SHS's site may have even newer drivers, but I don't have a link.

yeah you are having a driver issue
I have seen it before

you should read the FAQ on updating drivers and follow it for instaling new drivers
make sure SageTV is not running or set to start up with computer when doing this

and get the drivers from SHSpvr.com/forum

they are really nice
I am running them now

I updated the drivers but ended up going straight to the hauppauge site for them. They had more recent drivers than what was available on the sage or SHS sites.

Picture is great now but no sound :-( I will post this in a different thread.
