Meda MVP plugin for SageTV

http://www.streams.ch/index/mvpclient/introduction

MVP Client for SageTV is a free plugin for SageTV. It allows a Hauppauge MediaMVP device to be used as frontend for SageTV. Support for features like On-Screen-Display (OSD), Audio and Video is close to that supported by the normal SageTV Client. Exceptions are mostly due to restrictions imposed by the MediaMVP (see Known Issues for details).

The MVP Client can be dowloaded from the Downloads page. Updates will be posted there as they become available.

So anyways, what does this mean? I am not all that famliar with the MVP product - what can this do for me?
