Question Sage Installation Folders

Okay, another newbie question...

When I run the install for SageTV, it defaults to C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV. This is also the default for the SageTV Client.

When installing both the "server" and the client on the same PC for MVP installations, is it best to install these two applications into separate folders or can they co-exist? It would seem co-existing would make sense, especially since given the fact that there is a "Common" folder under SageTV.

I know there has been much discussion about installing two clients in the same folder, or not, but I haven't seen mention of installing the client and server in the same folder.

Thanks in advance...

Brian

I would install them in separate folders... if for no other reason than the fact that you could have competing properties files. SageTVClient uses SageClient.properties... but so does the SageTV UI when you use the service.
