Newbie question: video card upgrade?

I'm currently using an ATI 9600 Radeon SE with SageClient to a Sony Rear Projection LCD (HD ready). If I upgraded to a better video card would I see a difference? Would I get better picture quality, would I see less CPU usage on the PC, more features? What do I get for the extra cost? The PC is only used for Sage, no gaming or anything else.

I'm running the SageClient with the ATI 9600 SE on an MSI K7T pro motherboard with a 700Mhz AMD CPU and 384 MB ram.

Thanks,
Greg

WOW you might consider upgrading more than the video card
or upgrading the video after getting a faster CPU

I would say you could possibly use VMR9 instead of overlay with a new video card but that CPU is so slow I would not try it
