How do I troubleshoot power standby timeout?

How do I troubleshoot power standby timeout?

I had my Sage system successfully going into standby after 3 minutes of inactivity, then being awakened by SageWake. A few weeks ago it stopped going into standby on its own and would only go into standby if I manually triggered it via the power button. I did find a virus and cleaned the system, upgraded to XP SP2, and Sage 2.1. Still, the system comes out of standby okay but refuses to go into it on its own.

Does anyone know of any tools/utilities that can help diagnose what is preventing the idle timeout on the Power Options from working?
