2.0->2.1: Why did Channel2 stop working
I was running version 2.0 and everything was fine. I installed 2.1 (clean install, removed 2.0). Now, for some reason, I can no longer choose to watch channel 2 (CBS here in the northwest Chicago area). I could watch it before without any problem, but when I select channel 2 now, it does not change to that channel. It either stays at the current channel, or if I am just starting to watch it jumps to whatever channel I was watching before.

There are a few shows I really enjoy on CBS/2 and would appeciate some help on this problem. Thanks.

Try going into Setup->Channel Setup and make sure Channel 2 is activated.

It is. I've disabled/enabled it several times. I've gone thru the channel wizard completely a few times. Everything works EXCEPT channel 2, which used to work prior to installing 2.1.

same here in CT - no channel 2 although its selected - version 2.1.10

same here, no channel 2, HBO is on channel 2 here.

Just a thought. Can you view channel 2 in the WinTV application?
