Additional Logos

Not sure if anyone has seen this site but it has about any station logo that you could imagine. Radio or TV.

Actually, this project was started because I didnt like logos satlogo provided so I decided to make my own that would look much better when enlarged. As you can see...there are tons of national and local stations its provides....thus why I only choose to do nationaly televised network logos. It would take me a lifetime to do them all. Its a great place to get your local stations though! If ya know any national logos I might be missing, feel free to make a request.

No, I think you have all of them covered, I was just doing the local ones. Hard to expect anyone to do those since there are so many.

Hi,

If you're still looking for some logos to do, Encore has changed some of their logos. The ones that changed for me are:

Encore Action
Encore Drama
Encore Love
Encore Mystery
Encore Wam
Encore Westerns

You can find them at the bottom this page and at the top of this one.

Thanks!

I don't live in the UK anymore but if anybody wants to know the full lineup of sky channels, it's here

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/satellite/skyepg/

This would cover most if not all of the channels people get. There aren't really local channels in the UK like there are in the US. The only channel that follows the network model that US viewers are used to is ITV.

Never understood the difference between Satlogo and these until I got my HDTV last week(I have always used yours anyways). Wow these look WAY better!

How about Canadian stuff like CBC, CFTO, CITY-TV, TSN,OMNI1?

Just wading through some old threads, and since I had been using these icons, I found another site that has generated a HUGE database of icons that seem to be good quality...Not to hijack or anything, but I think it's good to share other resources when we find them. I'm not sure if these are as high quality as remmy's, but here you go.

http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/

The only pain, is I wish they had just a batch download, where you could download all icons, instead of having to add them to a download...kind of a PITA, if you ask me...

You're right about it being a PITA doing it manually. However it's a very nice resource that allowed me to fill in a couple holes I had in my channel logos.
Thanks!!

Thanks for that link, geogecko. It filled in a couple of holes for me as well.

I just wish my local channels' respective websites would have a nice, clean logo that I could "borrow", with the "local" version rather than just "CBS" or "ABC". I've found a few, but not all.

What size should the channel logos be so that they look good in all the places that they show up in: guide, show info (larger), current show (medium).

Can you use more than one size for each channel? If so what is the naming convention to achieve this? (I read something about this in another post but no specs).

Thanks in advance for the help,
Andrew

It's been a while since I have found the need to update my channel logos. That being said, maybe I am missing some popular national channels that need to be added. Anything I am lacking that needs to be added here? Keep in mind I live in the US. Doing channel logos for countries like Germany may be an interesting project but one I myself wouldnt get a benefit from. Anyone see where I have missed the mark and need to fix things?
