Automated Key Generation?
Oaky, so Sage is not exactly where I want it to be, but it will ge there, plus I want support for my 2 TV cards... So, I installed the latest version of SageTV...
Well my key was no longer any good and in reality I didn't get enough time to fix and check all the things I wanted... Anyway, I go ahead and pay for SageTV, but now the key is no where to be found.... Do I have to wait until Frey is in the office to send me a key? (If so... ARGGGGGGGGH .. ) Internet automation, please. I don't have much time, so when I set time aside, I don't have working software. I'm heading out on vacation and wanted to set this puppy up. DRAT! Shame on you for not printing out the email that had your key. Seriuosly I use a program called Serials2K(Yes I know a lot of people use it for theft) it is a great way to keep all you shareware/CD keys in a handy searchable database. You can even password protect it. I have it on a CDRW along with other emergency apps.
Edit:In rereading your post I realize you are probably talking about your purchase taking place right now. Sorry, I misunderstand. It's just that I've seen you posts around this forum for a while. I kind of assumed(you know what they say about that) you already owned Sage. Still weird I ordered late at night and my key still showed up in a few minutes. Best of luck. I got mine in a matter of minutes as well. I don't know if they're automated or not, but is there the chance that you typo'ed your email address?

Our key system is automated. Troy, did you already purchase and key and misplace the e-mail?

Well the good old internet has struck again.
It was sent to an e-mail account that has always worked flawlessly, except this time. So, loopity loop it goes.. needless to say.. I did get my key today, it's been a tough week and so I was looking forward to getting started on the "setup", so when the key didn't come "instantly", I was not too happy. It was my e-mail setup that was at fault not FREY. So, I apoligize. None of my online customers ever aploigize, they just freak out (as I sorta did) and I don't want to be in the same category as them. Again, I'm sorry. I'll be working on my 2 PVR setup tonight.
