HELP: Display Settings Screwed up - How can I recover
Well, it's a public holiday here so I started playing around with powerstrip.
I have WinXP (SP2) I changed the refresh rate on my monitor(TV) and its not locking up. I reboot and everything is fine bring in up the signon screen. As soon as I signon the display settings take effect and I don't have enough time to change them back. The problem with XP is I don't see the option to start in safe mode. Unfortunately I don't have my ERD Commander CD to recover (it's in the office) Does any kind soul know of a way to go in and change the display settings before they take effect so that I can see what I am doing? Your assistance will be much appreciated.

F8 before the winxp is loading screen, to go into safe mode. You can chnage the display setting there.
