Ahanix D3 Media Center Enclosure's VFD

Is the VFD supported at all by Sage? Come on, MCE supports it! Maybe in a custom STV?

I think somebody has something rigged up with LCD Smartie and one of the dumped info files from a custom STV, but I don't think anyone has a real "plugin" yet.

Why does it always seem to be you who replies to most of my questions? If this forum had karma enabled, I'd give ya some; thanks.

I was reading over at www.htpcnew.com and there was some mention about the Smartie plugin for Girder that can work with various DVD players (including TT). Not quite the answer that we're looking for

I have. Use Smartie 5.1 (search on google), with the dump info from (?) Nielm's STV. (You have to enable something with output in the sage.configuration)

Configure Smartie to use the 1, 3 & 4th line of the file (very easy) in this way:

line 1 VFD: Line 1 Text
Line 2 VFD: line 3 text / line 4 text

If my memory serves me well, this would get:
---Show Name---
---00:01/40:00--- (per example)

sorry for being so vague but I'm changing my setup at the moment, so I can't check.
