FYI Firefly and 2.1

Just installed the 2.1 beta and it broke many of the FF’s buttons. To fix, in the Sage profile for FF change the window class as described in this POST for the ATI RW (thanks Jason!) and FF is happy once again.

No problem Scriber. This is a collaborative effort. Glad to be able to help once in a while. Is only fair considering how much help *I* get!

Since I don't have a Firefly I can't be of much specific help with it, but I can give you a "clue"... The other post above was referring to a change needed for the window class in the sagetv.ini used for an ATI remote plug-in for SageTV.

You'll have to find out what (if any) file the Firelfy uses for configuration and make a similar change to it.

That probably don't help you much, but best "clue" I can give you.

Go to folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Firefly\Profiles\
Find
SageTV-FreyTechnologies-1.4.xml
just add new line with what below
<Identifier ClassName="sage.s" WindowText="SageTV" FileName="" />

Like SHS' post indicates its in the profiles directory - why profiles are not located in the FF directory itself is beyond me...

Also, I just made a tiny edit and from "d" to "s" for the window class by opening teh sage profile in the XML file in notepad. Very quick and easy.
