few PVR-350 questions

First when I load SageTV the UI wont come up on the TV automatically unless I put the TV in the backround of the menu. I don;t really want to TV picture in the background of the menu but this is the only way I can get the menu to come up on the screen when I first load the app. Any way to get around this?

Second, I tried to listen to MP3's in my media library but the minute I play the MP3 the screen gets the color bars and I have to back out to the menu to get the video back on the screen.

I also tried to look aat picutre in my media library and the thing locked up. Anyone have any experience with this?

The PVR-250 TV OUT is working great for TV and such but if I can't get the MP3's and picutre to work I may have to go back to the video card out.

First, make sure you have the latest drivers from Hauppauge or SHSPVR.com. That should solve your menu and picture problems when you open Sage.

Second, the PVR 350 cannot play MP3's thru it's audio outs. It is a hardware limitation. Just like it can't play a DVD. You need to use the audio from your soundcard. Some people pass the 350 audio through their soundcard's line-in to get around that limitation.

I still think that this is going to be something that's going to be over-come with an STV.

Is there any other way than passing the 350 audio out throuough the line in?

Krutaw, what do you think they are going to work around with an STV?
