Breakout Cable to HDTV Help

I'm going to attempt to get my 5 plug breakout cable connected from VGA to my MITS HDTV again this weekend.

I have an Nvidia MX440 8X. I have loaded 66.81 drivers and there are HDTV resolutions and timing there (thanks to another post here).

I am currently feeding my HDTV via SVideo.

My question is: do I configure the video card for dual monitors (SVideo and VGA) as I will use the SVideo for booting, etc, until I get the VGA output set up the way I want it.

If I need to configure for dual monitors, which should be primary and is the VGA output device considered TV or Monitor (even though it is feeding an HDTV).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm still struggling with understanding the various outputs from Video Cards and how they relate to TV.
