IRD Definitions for Blackbird?

Does anyone have Sage TV working with a Blackbird box? I'm thinking about getting one of these, but not if I can't use it with the IR200L and Sage TV.

I "believe" you can do that with a simple DVB card and a satillite dish. SDVBRecorder should work.

Is that a card or software?

DVB card is a card, like this:
http://www.pcalchemy.com/product_inf...roducts_id/115
Although I don't know if that's the one you'd want or not (there are slightly different versions of DVB and I'm not sure which Dish uses).

SDVBRecorder is a "proxy" that allows Sage to use a DVB card as a network encoder, do a search for DVB and you'll find a thread here.

Now, don't take my word for it and go buy something, I have no direct experience with it, but that's how I understand it works.

I guess the question is, has anyone been able to use a PVR-250/350 and DVB card in the same machine at the same time.
