programming time off by an hour?

Hi there! I just set up my SageTV box a couple days ago and for the most part I'm really happy with it. However, I've got a really weird problem I could use some help with:

All the programming data I have is accurate, except it all seems to be an hour early. I set the machine's clock to sync itself with the SageTV server's clock, and it set my clock to be an hour earlier than it actually is too.

I live in Bloomington, IL, and I'm reasonably certain I set the time to be Central time when I installed XP....

Any ideas? Or should I just pretend I live in Colorado when dealing with TV listings? :-D

First: double check the Windows Time Zone tab in the Date and Time Control Panel app & make sure it is Central.

figured it out

Well, it turns out I just had something set wrong. I had it set to Central Time.... I just didn't have it automatically detect Daylight Savings Time.

Thanks for the help!

I'm new here and I have a problem with my SageTV clock. There are several "clock" related issue posts that I'm reading but none of them have my exact problem, though this one is close.

My computer clock is set correctly, in the correct time zone (Central), with Daylight Savings. Yet when I enter SageTV, the time and the time slots are all an hour behind. Here's an example:

It's 8 AM locally and "Jerry Springer" comes on at 8 AM locally. But my timeslots says it comes on at 7AM and since it thinks it's 7 AM locally, LiveTV Guide will start on the 7 AM timeslot. I can click this timeslot and Jerry Springer will come on. I also have disabled/enabled the TimeServer sync to see if that would help but it doesn't.

I think the answer is easy but I'm having a brain fart here? Can anyone help?
