PVR-350 and UI out, what driver are you using?

Hi all,

I'm one of the brave/daring souls using the Video/UI out on a PVR-350.

I would like to know how many of you are doing that, what drivers you're using and any experiences your having.

Personally I have a P4 with 512MB Ram on a Gigabyte MB (Intel 845 chipset) with one PVR-350 card. I'm finding the 22162_mix drivers to be the most stable ones, tried the new ones the other day and had BIG problems, so rolled back right away. At the moment I'm only having troubles once every couple of days with soft lockups when using FF/REW (especially multiple presses).

Thanks!
Whiskeyjack

I installed the latest beta drivers. but I also experience problems with them. On the TV display I see a huge back bar on the bottom of the screen, which I can't remove. I did not have the time to switch back to a previous driver.
But I wonder also which version is the most stable one (for TV out) at the moment...

I have stayed with the 22162 drivers as well. As you state these seem to be the most stable. I do still have some problems all in all performance is acceptable, which is like say my car only break down once a month.

I have a lowly PIII650 running a 350 with the last Official 350 drivers off the Hauppauge website. It runs well most of the time with a soft lockup (Sage keeps running but the 350's output just locks) once or twice a month.

I haven't tried the newer drivers because I haven't heard any reports that I'll get any better results by "upgrading."

Oops!! This seemed to be a SageTV config which was set to NTSC in stead of PAL
